Lake Charles, Louisiana, May 11, 2022 – In its ongoing efforts to expand services and clinical expertise, CHRISTUS Ochsner St. Patrick Hospital welcomes cardiothoracic surgeon Subbareddy Konda, M.D. He practices at Ochsner CHRISTUS Health Center-St. Patrick located at 401 Dr. Michael Debakey Drive, Suite 200.
After graduating Kurnool Medical College in India, Dr. Konda completed an internship and residency in general surgery at Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland. He also completed a fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery at West Virginia University Hospital and with Starr-Wood Cardiac group in Portland, Oregon. In addition, Dr. Konda trained in cardiothoracic surgery at hospitals in Ireland and London. He attained the highest qualification for surgery in the U.K. and Ireland with FRCS in Cardiothoracic Surgery by all Four Royal Colleges.
Dr. Konda is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the Society of Thoracic Surgery, the Association of Surgeons of India, the Association of Cardiothoracic Surgeons of India, the Association of Cardiothoracic Surgeons of Great Britain and the Irish Medical Organization.
