CHRISTUS Ochsner Southwestern Louisiana Foundation Announces 2021-2022 Community Advisory Council

Lake Charles, Sept. 30, 2021 – The CHRISTUS Ochsner Southwestern Louisiana Foundation is thrilled to announce its 2021-2022 Community Advisory Council. The Foundation oversees the philanthropic efforts of CHRISTUS Ochsner St. Patrick and CHRISTUS Ochsner Lake Area Hospitals, which includes Children’s Miracle Network.

Leading the Council for the upcoming 2021-2022 fiscal year is Chair, Lynn Hohensee. Returning members include John Cardone, Jr., Tom Chamberlain, John Fear, Tony Hulsey, Willie King, Bruce Kirkpatrick, Barbara McManus, Elizabeth McLaughlin, Willie Mount, Charles O’Connor, Randy Roach, Blake Soto, James Steward, George Swift, and Frank Wood.

New to the Council are Ernie Broussard, Senior Business Mgr., Hunt Guillot and Associates, Judge Ron Richard, Lake Charles City Court, and Alyson Antoon, Attorney, Vamvoras Antoon.

Lynn Hohensee has served as director of the West Calcasieu Port since 2006. He currently serves as the President of the Ports Association of Louisiana. Previously he served as Executive Director of The Chamber Foundation/Southwest Louisiana in Lake Charles (2003-2005). He also worked for 30 years in the petroleum industry for Shell and Conoco. Hohensee was a Lieutenant Colonel with the U.S. Army. He retired in 1999 after 28 years of active/reserve duty. A 1966 graduate of Worthington (Minn.) High School, he received a B.S. degree in journalism and geography (double major) from South Dakota State University in 1971. He is also a graduate of the Department of Defense Information School and the U.S. Army Command & General Staff College. Hohensee and his wife, Marie, reside in the Moss Bluff area and have one daughter.
